Rotational Molding Definition

The rotational molding process is a high-temperature, low-pressure plastic-forming process that uses heat and biaxial rotation (i.e., angular rotation on two axes) to produce hollow, one-piece parts.

A variety of materials are used in this process including FDA-approved food-grade plastics such as LLDPE – Linear low-density polyethylene and HDPE – High-density polyethylene for potable water food applications.
